Affliate Corner

In addition to the nearly 100,000 members of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated, the organization also has two affiliates that support its mission to enhance the quality of life for women and their families in the U.S. and globally through community service, civil, and social action.  The two affiliates, known as the Rhoer Club and Philo Affiliate are fully functioning organizations under the advisement of the local alumnae chapter that conduct programming in support of the Sorority's national, regional, and local initiatives. Lambda Upsilon Sigma is proud to have both affiliates as a part of its Sigma Family.

Philo Affiliate

The Philo Affiliate, also referred to as Friends of the Sorority, is comprised of women who are not members of a Greek-lettered organization that desire to serve and support the mission of Sigma Gamma Rho. The Philos work closely with members of Sigma Gamma Rho in planning and executing programming that impacts the community locally, regionally, and nationally. Since inception, the Philos have contributed countless hours of community service and thousands of dollars in support Sigma Gamma Rho’s efforts. Rhoer club

The Rhoer Club is is an affiliate of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.consisting of a diverse group of young ladies between the ages of 12 and 18 that provides training and guidance in education, community service, vocation, fine arts, and social affairs to members.  The program also provides the young women with the energy, support, commitment, and encouragement of members of Sigma Gamma Rho to help them develop and succeed. To subscribe to our interest list fill out form below.

Rhosebud Club

The Rhosebud Club is an affiliate group of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. consisting of ..a diverse group of girls, ages 8 through 11. Delicate like the petals of a rosebud, this affiliate group is handled with special care and attention.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. seeks to play a role in helping to cultivate girls as they grow into young ladies who are well-rounded and will embody the qualities needed to be good students and productive citizens. We feel this can be best achieved through action that will contribute to the overall well-being of the Rhosebud.
